Join Us for a Lakewood Committee Info Session!
We’re excited to invite all Lakewood residents to an upcoming informal feedback session designed to spark ideas, gather input, and gauge interest in forming neighborhood committees that help shape our community’s future. To make it easier for everyone to attend, we’re offering two identical meeting times:
Sunday, June 30 at 6:00 PM Monday, July 8 at 6:00 PM
At the Pavilion
Whether you’re brand new to Lakewood or a longtime resident, these meetings are a chance to learn more about ways to get involved, share your thoughts and talents, and meet neighbors who care about making a difference.
What to Expect
This won’t be a formal meeting—think of it more as a casual chat under the pavilion where you can:
- Learn about proposed committees
- Give your input on what matters to you
- Let us know where you might want to get involved (or just listen and think it over!)

- Welcoming Committee – Helping new neighbors feel at home
- Social & Events Committee – Planning fun events and get-togethers
- Landscaping & Beautification Committee – Enhancing shared spaces
- Festival & Holiday Committee – Celebrating traditions and holidays
- Neighborhood Safety & Watch – Promoting safety and awareness
- Maintenance & Infrastructure Committee – Supporting community upkeep
- Neighborhood Outreach & Care – Helping neighbors in need
- Lakefront & Nature Committee – Preserving our lake and green spaces
- Parks & Recreation Committee – Improving playgrounds and outdoor areas
